Find what the multiplier is applied to
Every wagering condition multiplies something by something. The clause you need identifies the base: the bonus credit alone, your deposit alone, or both combined. The same headline offer can therefore mean very different amounts of play, and the base is usually buried two paragraphs below the exciting part. Write the base down in your own words. If you cannot restate it in a single sentence after reading the section twice, you do not yet understand the offer well enough to accept it.
Then look for the games that do not count
Contribution rules are where offers quietly become harder. Slots are frequently counted in full, table games often partially, and a handful of titles may be excluded outright. Many rule sets also cap the stake allowed while a bonus is active, and exceeding that cap lets the operator void the whole thing. That single line converts an ordinary condition into a trap for anyone who raises stakes without rereading the terms. Before you plan around a promotion, list which categories count fully, which count partly and which count not at all.
Ask what the withdrawal clause does to the bonus
Some operators freeze payouts until the requirement is met. Others delete the bonus portion the instant you request money. Others simply reduce what you receive. Because these outcomes differ enormously, and can differ between two promotions from the same brand, the interaction between bonus and withdrawal deserves a careful read. Get the answer in writing from support before accepting, not afterwards, when a request is already sitting in review. A vague reply to a precise question tells you something useful about the operator.
A question that settles most decisions
Imagine the promotion did not exist. Would you still be comfortable spending that much time and money on this hobby this month? If accepting the offer pushes your deposit above what you had planned, the offer is working against you, whatever the headline advertises. The balance in your account is held in your local currency, and the amount that is genuinely yours is not the same as the number on screen while conditions are outstanding. Turning a promotion down is an ordinary decision, not an admission that you misunderstood it.
